In this guide, I will show you how to recharge airtime on your phone using UBA magic banking USSD code. It works for all mobile networks in Nigeria, Glo, MTN, Airtel, 9Mobile, just name them. You can also use any mobile device to perform this transaction.
In addition, using this method does not require an internet connection. In other words, even if you are not subscribed to a data plan on your phone you can still recharge.
UBA magic banking was introduced to reduce the hassle of having to visit ATM machines whenever you need to perform simple transactions like checking your bank account balance, transferring money or paying utility bills and pay TV subscriptions.
How to recharge from your UBA account using the UBA recharge code
Step 1. To purchase airtime from UBA, dial *919# using the phone number that’s registered with your account.
You will be provided with several options, just go ahead and select the one that’s appropriate to you.
Step 2. If you intend to buy for yourself enter 1 and press send. If you’re purchasing airtime for someone else enter 2 and press send.
Step 3. Enter the amount you wish to recharge and confirm your transaction.
Note: purchasing of airtime for yourself requires that you dial *919# using the phone number you registered with your bank account.
And even if you’re buying for yourself but with a phone number that’s not registered with your UBA bank account, then you need to select option 2.
Alternatively, to recharge ₦500 for yourself, dial *919*amount# e.g. *919*500#
Or, If you’re recharging someone else’s line or a line not linked with your UBA bank account dial *919*Phonenumber*Amount#; for instance *919*08123456789*500#.
