A UK Health minister and Conservative Member of Parliament, Nadine Dorries, has tested positive for coronavirus.
According to the BBC, Ms Dorries said she has been self-isolating at home after she started feeling ill on Thursday. That same day, before the symptoms started, she attended an event hosted by the prime minister.
The MP who appreciated the good wishes from well-wishers stated that she was more worried about her mother who’s living with her.
“Thanks for so many good wishes. It’s been pretty rubbish but I hope I’m over the worst of it now. More worried about my 84yo mum who is staying with me and began with the cough today. She is being tested tomorrow. Keep safe and keep washing those hands, everyone,” she wrote.
In other news, the match between Arsenal and Machester City has been postponed over coronavirus fears. Several Arsenal players of been self-isolating after Olympiakos owner, whom the made contacts with, tested positive for the deadly virus.
So far, Coronavirus has killed over 4,000 people and infected over 100,000 people worldwide. Meanwhile, a large proportion of the infected people have recovered.
