The 22-year-old lady who drowned her one-year-old daughter, Oluwanifemi, has given reasons as to why she killed her baby.
Recall that Naijahomebased earlier reported that Adisa, who lived with her older sister in Gowon estate in Lagos, had on May 11 drowned her own child.
Thereafter, Adisa reported herself to the police.
In an interview with Punch, Adisa gave a lucid account of how she drowned the little girl until she died.[;r
According to her, her reasons for doing it ranged from being ashamed of being a single mother; being a single mother affected her education.
She added that seeing the father of her child played no role in her life didn’t help matters.
