The World Health Organization (WHO) has mentioned Nigeria as one of the countries effectively tackling coronavirus.
The WHO has recently pronounced the deadly disease aa a pandemic as the disease has spread through over 100 countries; infecting over 135,000 people and killing over 4,990.
While speaking at a press conference in Geneva, the head of the WHO emergency programme, Michael Ryan, has given credit to Nigeria for their fight against the novel Coronavirus.
According to Ryan, within forty-eight hours of Nigeria confirming its first case of coronavirus, Nigeria had established a hundred-bed isolation unit.
However, he noted that the development of Isolation centres and clinical support is uneven in countries around the world.
