If you have been wondering who inspired Davido to do music, looks like we have finally found our answer. Davido himself admitted that Wizkid inspired him to do music.

Both singers are often times considered the biggest rivals in the Nigerian music industry. Meanwhile, it is the fans who are often times involved in debates regarding who the best is among both singers.

Virtually every day, we get to witness new episodes of Wizkid vs Davido on Twitter. but it appears there isn’t any bad blood between both singers. At least, not from Davido’s angle.

Being that, when Davido jumped on Dj Ecoool’s live video session on Instagram, he clearly professed admiration for Wizkid to the point of mentioning his favorite Wizzy song.

“You know who I’m talking about… you know Wizkid came and that’s when we; all the young guys were like, ‘I’m doing this sh** too, bruh… That n***a came with some fire, bro,” Davido said.

After saying that, DJ ECoool played Wizkid‘s ‘Holla At Your Boy’ which was released in January 2010, and it got Davido dancing with a big smile on his face.

Thereafter, he disclose that his favourite Wizkid song was ‘Wiz Party.’
