Popular on-air personality, Daddy Freeze, has lashed out the Republic of Madagascar for telling Nigeria to pay N72 million for the unverified COV drugs they sent.
According to him, the success rate is quite low for them to be charging that much.\.
Freeze who shared his disapproval on Twitter went on to call their decision to charge for the drugs ‘criminal’ and an act of exploitation.
“Aren’t we mad? Like totally mad?” he wrote.
“Charging N72 million Naira for an untested, unverified, AGBO that has a 40% success rate (so far only 144 have recovered out of 304 cases), is CRIMINAL!
“Trying to sell it while exploiting the sentiments and emotions of pan Africanism is subhuman!” he added.
Clearly, the OAP is livid at the Island nation for their decision to charge for the drugs.
Meanwhile, President Buhari Muhammadu revealed that the nation will not be making use of the drugs until it is subjected to thorough clinical trials.
