Nigerian actress, Funke Akindele, has released a video urging her fans to stay at home and protect themselves from contracting the deadly virus.
She started by saying this past week has been a learning curve for her.
She then reminded people that ‘prevention is better than cure’, so it is better not to get infected in the first place.

Recall that Funke Akindele was charged by the Lagos State government after she flouted the social distancing order to host a birthday party for her husband.
Doing that attracted criticisms from Nigerians who took to social media to call her out, leading to her arrest.
Meanwhile, Nigerians also criticized politicians who attended Abba Kyari’s funeral for not following NCDC directive on social distancing. Some of even called on the government to issue an apology to Funke Akindele.
