How to Check FUTA Admission list:
On FUTA official website:
- To check your admission status on FUTA official website, visit https://www.futa.edu.ng/firarsnew/welcome/admissions on your phone or desktop browser.
- Enter your Jamb registration in the space provided.
- Click on “Submit” and wait for the network to generate your admission information.
If you have been offered admission by FUTA, you will receive a notification right there, and an information on how to print out your admission letter and the date for screening.
On JAMB CAPS:
- To check your FUTA admission status on JAMB CAPS, visit http://caps.jamb.gov.ng/ using your phone or desktop browser.
- Enter your JAMB username and password to login to your account.
- Locate and click on ‘Check UTME / DE Admission Status’ tab.
- Select your Exam year and Enter your JAMB registration number.
- Finally, click on ‘Check Admission Status’.
What to do after FUTA offers you admission
The first thing to do is upload your O’level results on the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) portal and accept the offer of admission.
If you fail to do this within a certain period of time, FUTA will automatically cancel your admission.
After accepting your admission on JAMB portal, the next thing you must do is print out the admission letter.
I can’t find my name in the list, what should I do?
Most times FUTA releases admission list in batches. In other words, there’s 1st, 2nd, VC list and occasionally other supplementary list.
We can’t give you specific dates when all the list would be out; however, we can say for a fact that the official website announces it on the homepage whenever a new admission list is out.
If the FUTA has only released the first list and your name isn’t in it, we advise you wait patiently until every list is released.
