Ini Edo was born on 23 April 1982 in Akwa Ibom state. Therefore, her birthday is celebrated every 23rd of April and she’s currently 42 years old.

Early life and Education
Ini Edo is an Ibibio woman from Akwa Ibom State in the south-south part of Nigeria. Born in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state.
She had her secondary education at Cornelius Connely College in Uyo and attended the University of Uyo and graduated with a diploma in Theatre Arts.
She also attended the University of Calabar where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English. In 2014, she was awarded a scholarship to study law at the National Open University of Nigeria.

As earlier noted, she is a Nigerian actress who began her movie career in the year 2000 and since then has featured in more than 100 movies, with her first movie being “thick madam” which she acted in 2003.
In what many would call luck, she only accompanied her friend to an audition; however, she was discovered by a producer and since then started her movie career. In the year 2003, she featured in her first movie titled “Thick Madam”.
Although she started acting in 2000, she came into the spotlight when she acted “world apart” in 2004. And since then, she has appeared in over 100 films. Needless to say, she is no doubt one of the best actresses not only in Nigeria but Africa at large.
In 2011, the United Nations (UN) appointed her as the United Nations Habitat Youth Envoy and in 2013 she was a judge for the Miss Black Africa Uk Pageant.
