NSCDC arrests man for defiling a 3-month-old baby

The Nasarawa State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has arrested a 27-year-old man for allegedly defiling a three-month-old baby.

The man identified as Ahmadu Yaro, in Adogi village, Lafia Local Government Area of Nassarawa state.

Mr Bisi Olugboyega, the Deputy State Commandant of the NSCDC, paraded the suspect on behalf of the Commandant, Mr Mahmud Fari.

Mr Bisi said, “We have tracked and apprehended the 27-year-old suspected rapist, Ahmadu Yaro.

He said the suspect was caught two years ago by the community for a similar offence, but they did not hand him over to the security agencies

Furthermore, Mr Bisi said that Yaro has confessed to the crime.

“The suspect is believed to be a one-man gang claiming partial mental disorder, which is not yet confirmed or established,” he added.

In other news, a man was also recently arrested for defiling his 3-year-old daughter while his wife was in labor.
