BUK is one of the largest universities in Northwestern Nigeria. The institution has a huge students capacity, which explains why it is hugely popular among UTME applicants.

Similar to several other universities in Nigeria, the institution organises Post UTME examinations every year.

However, to qualify to register and sit for the exam you must meet up with certain requirements.

BUK Post UTME 2019 registration portal & requirements (how to register)

The official registration portal for BUK is buk.edu.ng. We advise you visit this portal using a computer.

However, in order to be qualified to register and participate in the exam, you must have scored a Minimum of 180 in your JAMB UTME result. In addition, you must have selected BUK as your first choice federal university.

Here’s how to register for BUK post UTME:

• Visit Bayero University official website using www.buk.edu.ng.
• On the homepage, click POST-UTME Application Portal.
• Login using your UTME Number and UTME Aggregate.
• then upload your passport-sized photograph and fill-in the all the necessary forms you find online.
• Generate and print the invoice slip, which shall containing details of your transaction.
• Proceed to any bank to make the payment of N2,500 (Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira Only) using the invoice slip you printed.
• Finally, return to the website, www.buk.edu.ng, login again. Your payment will be verified after which you can print your Examination Card.

Your examination date will be communicated to you on the exam card.

Note: You must go along with your Examination Card to the exam center, or else you’ll not be allowed to take part in the post UTME.

How to check BUK Post UTME Result

Candidates who sat for BUK Post UTME exams can check their results by following the steps below:

1. First of all, visit the official BUK Post-UTME result checking portal using mybuk.buk.edu.ng/bukat2018/bukat_login.php
2. Type your UTME Reg Number and your UTME score in their appropriate box.
3. After that, click on “Login”.
4. In your dashboard click on check “Post UTME Result”.

You result will display on the website after you complete the steps above. You can print your result slip afterwards, that is if you so wish.

BUK Post UTME cut off mark

Generally, the annual post UTME cut off mark is set at 180. However, there may be slight variations in the score, depending on the overall students’ performance for each year.

Basically, the admission will be decided using the aggregate score obtained from adding UTME and Post UTME performance.
