Every year, the Delta State-based university receives thousands of JAMB UTME and Direct Entry (DE) applicants for the approved courses.
If you sat for the Post UTME exams and scored up to the cut off point then the next thing is to keep track of your admission status.

How to Check FUPRE Admission list
On FUPRE official website:
- To check your admission status on FUPRE official website, visit https://fupre.edu.ng/utme/candidate/ on your phone or computer.
- Next, enter your JAMB registration number and password and then click on login.
- Once you’re logged in, locate and click on “Check Admission Status”.
After following the above steps, you’ll receive a notification confirming your admission status.
On JAMB CAPS:
- To check the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE) admission status on JAMB CAPS, visit http://caps.jamb.gov.ng/ using a mobile phone or computer.
- Next, login to your JAMB portal with your username and password.
- Click on ‘Check UTME / DE Admission Status’.
- choose your exact examination year and enter your JAMB registration number.
- Lastly, click on ‘Check Admission Status’.
After completing the steps above, you’ll see a message confirming your FUPRE admission status.
What to do after FUPRE offers you admission
First of all, you have to decide whether or not you wish to accept the admission.
If you wish to accept the admission, then login to your JAMB portal and upload your O’level results. After that, click on the button to accept the offer.
On the other hand, if you don’t want the admission, click on reject or ignore the notification.
If you don’t provide a response within a certain period of time, it will mean you don’t want to the admission.
You may have to pay the acceptance fee as applicable to your department, after which you’ll be able to print out the admission letter.
You will have to carry your admission letter along with you to FUPRE main campus during physical verification.
What to do if you can’t find your name on the list?

Make sure you keep checking the official portal on a regular basis whenever you hear that a new list is out.
