How to Subscribe to Glo Amebo
To subscribe to Glo Amebo, simply purchase a recharge card and dial *555*Recharge PIN#. That is, instead of using the regular *123*Recharge PIN#.
Now, you may be wondering if it’s possible to subscribe to this plan via electronic recharge, otherwise known as e-Top up.
Fortunately, you can!
Provided you recharge any of the following amounts: 150, 250, 300, 400, 600, 700, 800, 900, 1200, 1500, and 4000.
Any recharge other than the amounts listed above will not be eligible for the 5X recharge bonus.
After you recharge any of the eligible amounts electronically, you will receive a notification asking you if you want to subscribe to 5X bonus recharge.
All you have to do is follow the instruction which is contained in the message, after which your main balance will be converted to the 5X recharge bonus.
Benefits
As we’ve earlier noted, customers will enjoy up to 5 times the value of their top up amount as bonus. In other words, subscribers will stand to enjoy relatively better value on calls.

Your calls to all networks in Nigeria (Glo, MTN, Airtel & 9mobile) and the 5 permitted international destinations will be billed at 60 kobo per seconds.
The cost of sending SMS to all local networks in Nigeria is 20 naira only.
And your browsing sessions will cost you 5 naira per MB.
Note: You will not be able to browse using your bonus if you are subscribed to an active data bundle.
How to check Glo Amebo balance
You can check your Glo Amebo data balance by dialing #555*5# on your mobile phone. After which, you will receive an SMS and a notification telling you how much bonus you have left.
How to Opt Out
If you do not want to use the service again, all you have to do is stop recharging using *555*Recharge PIN#. That is, use the normal *123*Recharge PIN# instead.
Glo Amebo is not a tariff plan. In other words, you will retain your current plan while subscribed to it.
