You can check the University of Lagos (Unilag) admission lists for 2019 online – on the official website of the institution.

In this guide, we’ll explain all the steps involved in checking any of the admission lists; be it the 1st, 2nd or supplementary list.

The University of Lagos was founded in 1962, and as a result features in our list of oldest universities in Nigeria. Aside from that, Unilag is also rated among the most prestigious institutions of higher learning in the nation.

Owing to the aforementioned facts, thousands of students apply to study in the institution every year.

The process for checking Unilag admission status is the same for both JAMB UTME and Direct Entry (DE) applicants

I believe you must have checked your Post UTME result and scored up to the cut-off point. If that is the case, keep reading to discover how to keep track of your admission status on the official website of Unilag or on JAMB CAPS.

If you wish to accept the admission, then, stay logged in to the JAMB portal and upload your O’level results, after which you’ll have the option to accept the admission.

On the other hand, if you wish to forgo the admission, all you have to do is click on ‘reject admission’ button or ignore the notification.

Failing to provide any response within a certain period of time will lead to the automatic forfeiture of your admission.

What to do if you can’t find your name on the list

The University of Lagos doesn’t release all the lists at once. Therefore, you must keep checking until the admission process is complete.

Several lists may emerge, depending on how many people rejected admission and several other factors.
