Unilorin Admission List 2019: How to Check & Accept

You can check the University of Ilorin (Unilorin) admission lists for 2019 online – using your phone or computer.

The University of Ilorin is located in Kwara State. Founded in 1975, just 15 years after Nigeria’s independence, Unilorin is among the oldest universities in Nigeria.

Every year, thousands of students from every corner of Nigeria apply for admission to study in Unilorin. In fact, according to JAMB, it is one of the most sought after universities in Nigeria.

Regardless of you applying through JAMB UTME or Direct Entry (DE), the steps for checking your admission status is the same.

By now, I’m sure you must have checked your Unilorin Post UTME result and scored up to the cut-off point.

If that is the case, then what you have to do now is track your admission status on the official website of Unilorin or on JAMB CAPS.

How to Check University of Ilorin admission list

On the official Unilorin website:

To check the University of Ilorin Admission list on the official website, follow the steps below:

Step 1. Visit Unilorin undergraduate portal using https://uilugportal.unilorin.edu.ng/

Step 2. Click on Pre-Admission Screening Login; you can find it at the right-hand side of the page.

Step 3. Next supply your JAMB registration number and Surname and thereafter click on login.

Step 4. Once you’ve logged in, click on the link for checking your admission status on the portal.


To check your University of Ilorin admission status on JAMB CAPS:

Step 1. visit http://caps.jamb.gov.ng/ with a computer or at least a high-end mobile device.

Step 2. Supply your JAMB username and password to login to the portal

Step 3. Click on ‘Check UTME / DE Admission Status’.

Step 4. Select your exam year and provide your JAMB registration number.

Step 5. Lastly, click on ‘Check Admission Status’.

After completing the steps above, you’ll get a notification containing your Unilorin admission status.

What to do after the University of Ilorin offers you admission

You must first of all quickly decide whether or not you want the admission.

If you wish to accept the admission, then you have to stay logged in to your JAMB portal and upload your O’level results. Thereafter, you’ll have the option to click on the ‘Accept admission’ button.

In case you don’t want the admission, all you have to do is click on ‘reject’ or ignore the notification.

Failing to provide any response within a certain period of time will lead to your admission been reversed.

Note: you have to pay the Unilorin Acceptance acceptance fee before you’ll be allowed to print out the admission letter.

What to do if you can’t find your name on the list

The University doesn’t release all the list at once. So, you must keep checking to know when a new list is out.

On the official website of the institution, you’ll see updates regarding admission. so, you can check on a regular basis to know when a new list is out. In fact, we advise you to do that every day if you have the means.
