We’ve compiled a list containing 36 engineering courses you can study at the various Nigerian universities.

There are over 170 universities in Nigeria, as approved by the NUC. Many of those universities offer one or more engineering courses.

Although Nigeria isn’t among the top countries in the world when it comes to fields related to engineering, several young secondary school graduates continue to nurture untamable interests in the field.

After checking on school websites and JAMB brochure, we were able to gather all the engineering courses you can study in Nigerian universities.

Aspiring engineers can apply to study any of those courses, provided they satisfy all the necessary requirements.

Requirements & Subject combination for engineering courses

Most of the engineering courses above require O’level credit passes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English and one other science subject.

However, you must have it in mind that requirements vary from school to school. Therefore, we recommend that you refer to the JAMB brochure or official website of your desired university.
